Looking for a coffee to feed your pumpkin spice addiction? Look no further than this pumpkin spice iced coffee: refreshing and cozy all at once.
I know some of you are #foreversummer sort of folks — not me. Despite my best efforts to live in the present and not wish for the next season to come, I must say that I was quite excited when we got our first bits of fall a few weeks ago. Sunny days and 60-degree nights are just about pure bliss here in central Indiana. A bike ride through our new neighborhood without breaking a sweat? Give it to me.
Making this pumpkin spice iced coffee
And what would fall be without Starbucks #PSL ads, or Pinterest boards full of pumpkin delights? We couldn’t resist adding another fall drink to our repertoire. While cycling through pumpkin recipes (even trying a pumpkin ice cream that wasn’t quite right) we had a realization: drop the pumpkin. All we really want is the spice, not the pumpkin. This realization led to this quick and easy recipe for pumpkin spice iced coffee — with all the fall flavor, you’ll never notice the missing pumpkin!
You can use our Pumpkin Pie Spice recipe for this iced coffee. Or you can use the separate spices! See the recipe below.

I am a fall lover! I think it is my very favorite season!
Love these!
This sounds so lovely. Such a fabulous drink!
Fall is my favorite season! Don’t care for the hot weather, however I do love hot drinks.. this sounds like it would be perfect warm or cold.
Must try this! Love the simplicity. So-called flavored coffees i have bought in the past never really have good flavor. But doing it this way looks very promising. You had me at “spice!”
I am currently on a dairy-free, soy-free diet and while I’m not one who typically goes to Starbucks often, during the fall I have at least a few pumpkin spice lattes per month. I am SOOO missing them this fall. This was a great substitute! I’m going to try to do it hot tomorrow. Thanks for posting this! I love your site.
This is SO delicious – followed recipe exactly. I’ll be making it every fall.
amazint
How do you brew the coffee with the spices? When I made the coffee in my Chemex, the grounds and spices looked too fine and got mushy. It didn’t taste like pumpkin spice or coffee.
Hi! We grind our coffee to a medium grind and then add spices and brew normally in the Chemex. It gets a little dense, but the flavor always comes through for us!
We are doing a baby shower for my daughter who is having twins. It will be in October and the theme is “Two little pumpkins are on their way.” I am wondering if you have a recipe for this pumpkin flavored iced coffee that would serve 30. I am not a coffee drinker(would love to be, but my stomach doesn’t allow it). Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. My daughter is the oldest of my twins and I want to make this a special day for her and her friends.
Hi! I would do a 3x recipe in your normal coffee maker. You could do a couple batches of this and keep in the refrigerator for a day or 2. You may want to test it early on some coffee drinkers to make sure the spice level is right!
